The walled garden at Dunninald is one of the most distinctive outdoor wedding venues on the Angus coast — a privately owned, south-facing garden enclosed by stone walls and mature trees, set within the policies of a Gothic Revival castle that has been in the same family for over two hundred years.

The garden’s sheltered microclimate, herbaceous borders and rose arches provide a natural setting that needs little decoration. The Union Gate, the beech avenue and the castle exterior offer a remarkable variety of backdrops for photographs — all within a short walk of each other.
